Despite the recent announcement that Adobe will stop supporting Linux except in Chrome in the near future, there was a new version of Adobe Flash released on March 28th. It brings multithreaded video decoding to browsers. According to the release notes that eliminates jitter in live streams and can increase the frame rate up to 50%.
The new version is available in all Ubuntu official repositories as well as in the Canonical Partner and in google-chrome-stable.
